About Red Kettle Kimchi
Naturally fermented in Belfast, Maine, Red Kettle kimchi brings fresh Maine ingredients and time-honored Korean tradition together in a delicious blend of sour, sweet, spice, and umami. Each jar of kimchi is hand made in small batches, seasoned with Maine sea salt, and slow-fermented to tasty perfection.
Ger Tysk, owner of Red Kettle Kimchi, spent nearly a decade working as a chef on traditional sailing ships in Europe, the Caribbean, and the east coast of the United States. The food they make is a reflection of their Asian heritage and the natural bounty found in the state of Maine. Learn more here.
