Flavors of Maine 201: From the Sea

Eel and seaweed and salmon, oh my! Take your tastebuds on a trip down Maine's coast and explore the aquatic ingredients and flavors that make Maine so special. Participants will be introduced to Maine's wild and farmed seafood industries and hear the stories of local farmers, fishermen and other producers - while sampling delicious products that represent them!

Your Maine Tasting Center guide will walk you through a snack-sized tasting menu of local products that represent Maine fisheries, aquaculture and value-add products. Feeling thirsty? A curated local adult beverage flight designed to pair with the tasting menu is available for purchase on-site for guests ages 21+.

This guided, 30-minute experience is a fantastic introduction to Maine's seafood landscape, history and culture. We recommend scheduling this class at the beginning of your time in Maine so you can take advantage of all you've learned during the rest of your trip.
